今天幫Sue買SkypeOut點數時無意發現驚人消息 — 從現在起到年底，使用SkypeOut打電話至美國或加拿大費用全免。這對我和我的朋友來說都是天大的喜訊，因為本人正身在美國，家人和朋友時常會致電給我，現在免費，還不徹夜閒聊?

我一看都看好Skype的，現在出現了兩個勁敵，分別是MSN 8和Yahoo Messenger，它們皆可以打長途電話，但Skype仍是最多人使用的網絡電話軟件。Skype 2.5 Beta推出了，不但改善了介面，且新增了SMS功能，現在可以從Skyp向別人的手提電話發SMS*了。

*這項服務是要收費的，且費用因地區而異，暫時已知最便宜是台灣，接著是中國大陸、香港、澳洲、澳門和英國，最貴反而是美國。
